Signs You Shouldn’t Be With Someone Even If You Love Them

Being in a relationship can do you a lot of good, or a lot of harm. The problem is that many times we think that because we love a person, we have to be with them, even if we are unhappy or it is affecting us.

To solve this dilemma, we share 5 signs that usually occur when you are with someone you shouldn’t be with.

Signs You Shouldn’t Be With Someone Even If You Love Them

1. You have completely different goals for the future.

Your dreams are never going to be exactly the same as someone else’s, but if you want to visit the whole world, meet a lot of new people, and that does not appeal to your boyfriend, then you are not on the same page.

Obviously everything is negotiable, but you should never put aside your dreams to obtain someone else’s.

2. You constantly sacrifice yourself for your partner.

Relationships are 2, but if one of the two is giving more than the other, and communication has not saved their relationship, love will not either.

3. You are dependent on your partner in all aspects.

There is a line that should not be crossed and it is the one that is between the “I love you” and the “I need you”. When you start to depend on the other person, this can become unhealthy.

It’s okay for you to love, but living for the other person and imagining you can’t live without them is a sign that you are not meant to be together.

4. Neither of the two is willing to compromise.

When a couple truly loves each other, they must want to scream at the world how much they love each other, but even more importantly, they must be willing to commit to each other, otherwise, it is dangerous ground.

5. You feel like you’re not going anywhere with the relationship.

In a relationship, you must find support, evolve with your partner, accept change and be there through thick and thin. If you think that you are not a better person when you are with your partner, then that is something that love cannot fix.
